Just a quick question.
Basicly I'm really confused as to how exactly Frozen Soul is meant to be worded seeing as I've looked on YuGiOh! Wikia, Pojo and Google but yet I can find nothing. My main point is that if I were to activate Frozen Soul during my opponent's Main Phase 1, would it skip their battle phase of the same turn or is it their next turn?
Please help me because it's arguably the worst worded card for me in the game even though I've looked at this card and its text 1000 times over!

i would say its talkin bout their immediatley next battle phase
so activating it in main phase 1 would mean the battle phase is skipped on the same go

Jacob's right, the next time the opponent tries to go into their Battle Phase phase it'll get skipped even if it's in the same turn as Frozon Soul got activated.
Interestingly, by the looks of what's on Wikia, if the opponent can't or chooses not to go into their Battle Phase, the effect of Frozen Soul will still wait until your opponent does try to go into a Battle Phase. So you can activate it when they're playing defensive, and it will stop the first time they try to change to offense.

Remember Petes words if you choose to play this card.
Once you activate your opponent must declare their battle phase for it to be skipped thanks to its amazing wording of the text.
To put it really simply whether you activate it on any phase of your turn, or your opponents next turn, once they hit Main Phase 1, they choose whether or not to end their go, or enter their battle phase.
If they choose to enter their battle phase then they automatically switch to their Main Phase 2. If they end their go, then Frozen Soul continues untill they go to a battle phase.
The down side to this card is they can enter their battle phase at any time even with no monsters on the field, so it could well end up being a useless card at that time but considering your life will be low to activate it, that's probably not the case.
